In 1962, the network was lanuched as CNNN - "Chaser Nonstop News Network". It became the world's first 24-hour news channel, broadcasting first to United States and Canada.
1972-1980[]
In 1972, the network started broadcasting internationally.
1980-1991[]
In 1980, the Fifth "N" was added to the logo. The channel was rebranded as CNNNN.
1991-present[]
In 1991, with the lanuch of the new logo, the Network lanuched it's 24-hour news ticker, the CNNNN InstaTicker. The InstaTicker is seen around the clock, during each programme. It shows the stocks information on the Upper and Middle bands, News headlines, sports scores and weather information are seen at the lower band of the ticker.
