On 15^th July 2020, the Gawah government took control of BBC 2 and rebranded it to Channel 2 Gawah. The channel still continued to use the former logo, for less than a month though.

2020-2024

A new logo was finally introduced on August 3^rd.

The BBC bought Channel 2 Gawah back from the Gawah government and rebranded it back to BBC 2 on 27^th March 2024
