Arolan National Television Oy (ANT) is the national television broadcaster of the Republic of Arola. It was founded on 1st July 1958 as the successor to the BBC Arola Division, which previously handled television operations in the country after World War II.
1958–1964[]
1964–1990[]
In May 1964, ANT introduced a more permanent logo, modelled after the BBC’s 1950s logo.
1990–1996[]
On 17th June 1990, ANT revamped its identity for the first time in 26 years, introducing plain letters in alpine white, blue and green. The 1990 logo was inspired by the Arolan flag. However, this logo was not well-received with viewers and the company itself, hence it only lasted for 6 years.
1996–2017[]
1996–2008[]
On September 14, 1996, ANT launched its famous Delta-shaped logo, accompanied with idents set in a tundra biome. The logo continued to be the most famous symbol in ANT’s history.
2008–2017[]
On July 1, 2008, immediately after ANT’s coverage of the Republic of Arola Golden Jubilee Celebrations, ANT unveiled a new simplified logo with just the Delta-shaped logo and the acronyms of ANT in English and Finnish on the right side of the logo.
2017–present[]
After 21 years, ANT completely changed its iconic Delta-shaped logo to the new ANT Symbol, which resembled an infinity sign. The new identity was introduced on March 3, 2017.
