In January 2018, Air Labs acquired the team behind Paragon, shortly after the latter web browser was discontinued. In November 2018, they acquired most of the source codes and an undisclosed, described as a large amount however, developers from the Presto and Trident web browser engine projects. On January 30, 2019, they released Air 2.0, with a refurbished design and a lot of new features.
On January 30, 2019, as its parent company ODIMG Technologies filed for bankruptcy, Air Labs was merged into Libum Electronics. Their browser Air became part of the NewSystem family.
