2x2 was launched in 1994 on Fox after 2x2 was bought by Warner System Communications to make a English version of the channel and a Bayverse feed. in 1995, 2x2 was launched as a block on Cartoon Network that aired from 12 am to 1 am as a midnight block.
1997-2001, 1997-2004 (block)[]
in 1997, 2x2 was closed and replaced with Paramount Comedy Channel. The block itself lasted longer than the 24 hour TV channel but was closed in 2004. The timeslot for the block was extended to 3 hours long, 11 pm to 2 am.
2001-2006 (alternate screenbug, tv block, and logo) 2001-2003 (idents, bumpers, and primary logo)[]
in 2001, Paramount Comedy Channel was closed and replaced with Adult Swim. Adult swims timeslot was 11 pm to 1 am as a block.
2003-2016 (24 hour channel), 2003-2020 (tv block)[]
in 2003, Adult Swims time was increased to 10 pm to 4 am. later in 2005, Adult Swims time was increased to 10 pm to 6 am.
in August 13 2020, the tv block was closed and then replaced with Comedy Central Play in the following day.
