In 2016, a majority stake in AMC Fuei was bought out by a consortium consisting of Corus Entertainment, NBCUniversal, Viacom, Disney-ABC Television Group, CBS Corporation, Nine Entertainment Co, Bonnier AB, Rede Globo, Univision Communications and Saban Brands.
In 2017, Nine Entertainment, Bonnier, Univision, Saban, Corus and Rede Globo dropped out from the venture. Due to undisclosed reasons, CBS, Disney-ABC and NBCUniversal were also dropped from the venture.

In 2018, Old Dominion Media bought the Fuei division of VIMN from Viacom. On January 30, 2019, FBN was merged into Octagon Cable Entertainment. The channels were then acquired by Quest after OCE closed down and now they are owned by 5K Media.
