4 Britan is a channel served as Philippine version of Channel 4 UK, owned by 4 Britan LLC (a joint venture company owned by Channel 4 Television Corporation and GS Media Network), its sister channels are E4 Britan and More4 Britan.
It was originally OctaDish-exclusive channel until 2011, when AstSat adds 4 Britan to its lineup and later in 2013, 4 Britan is adding to multiple cable and DTH operators (like Cignal, SkyCable, GSat (later removed on 2018 and readded on October 2020 and removed again on February 10, 2021, due to the issues caused by closure of E4 Britan and More4 Britan) and Parasat.

After its addition in AstSat, its logo was updated but only the color was changed from black to the colors of the Union Jack.
2015-present[]
in November 2, 2020, Channel 4 noticed ViacomCBS to force sell 4 Britan LLC within 2 years.
on December 20, 2020, ViacomCBS Networks Philippines announced to sell its stakes of 4 Britan LLC to Viva (which owns PBO, Viva TV, Tagalized Movie Channel, K Movies Pinoy, Celestial Movies Pinoy and VivaMax) on 2022.
