405 was an American-British sitcom produced by Granada Television and RKO Television and aired on RKO Network and ITV from September 9, 1976 to May 13, 1982. The sitcom starred Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray and was focused on a fictional American television network led by an egocentric and illiterate businessman (portrayed by Chevy Chase). The show's name made reference to the adress of the channel's headquarters. The success of the show led the Portuguese public television channel RTP1 to loosely adapt it under the name O Tal Canal, starring Herman José.
